I’ve mentioned before that my first — and favorite — PR-focused blog is Jeremy Pepper’s POP! PR Jots. Not sure if anyone caught his April first post, but it was a good bye. I’m pretty sure is was an April Fool’s joke … but he hasn’t reappeared yet. And for some unexplainable reason, it’s really stressing me out. Jeremy, oh Jeremy — where are you (now I’m thinking I should be on Twitter – just to Web 2.0-stalk him).

The funny thing is, joke or not, I think he makes a good point. The blogosphere is very insular. It’s also very sensitive and sometimes, seems to react very emotionally. It sort of feels like preaching to a choir of Piranha. Either they’re with you, or they’re so, so against you. And I’ve digressed …

But I’m very anxious for Jeremy’s return post saying “Ha, had you fooled.” It’s odd — I’ve never met him. Never even emailed him. Yet, he’s a trusted source on multiple topics for me because his blog isn’t a self-promoting tool (at least, it doesn’t come across that way). It comes across as honest and sincere, and is usually very applicable to what I’m working on.

Oh Jeremy, this is worse than finding out your favorite show has been canceled without finishing the story line and telling you who the murderer was. April Fools Day is over. Come back already!

*Sigh*
