My first week as a blogger was fun. I’m learning a lot, which was exactly the reason I started (I still haven’t found the spell checker, though). It’s amazing the connections I’ve made, virtually, just by increasing my web presence. Very powerful stuff.

Last night, I learned how to track my “blog stats.” It’s interesting to see how many people are visiting First Person PR, but I didn’t start the blog for that reason. Or so I thought :)

At the same time I started this blog, my dog Brady kicked off his own. It’s not meant for anything other than 1) amusing my niece and nephews, and 2) providing a playground for me to experiment with pictures, video, etc. and learn the blogging ropes. I told a total of 8 people about his blog. On a whim, I checked Brady Bo’s stats last night, and saw that on day two, he had 60 visits, and his fan base is growing steadily each day.

It’s a great real world lesson on the power of viral, though soon he’s going to be asking for a gold plated food dish…
